Somewhat of a local, having grown up in Medowie, Kyah attended the University of Newcastle completing a Bachelor of Laws/Diploma of Legal Practice in 2020 and a Bachelor of Arts (majoring in Politics & Sociology) in 2018.
Kyah was initially driven to a career in law by her strong sense of advocacy, and has since developed a passion for the problem-solving and critical thinking processes that such a career demands.
Having worked in hospitality and management for 10 years before finishing her degree, she considers herself a “people person”. She enjoys getting to know the community and building trusting relationships with clients.
In her spare time, Kyah draws upon her Italian heritage to “cook up a storm” in the kitchen. She enjoys entertaining the creative side of her brain, challenging herself by trying a new hobby or skill every so often. While Kyah has always loved playing netball and other team sports, a recent knee injury has forced her to rediscover her love of bike riding, Pilates and other, less strenuous, activities.
Kyah is excited to be a part of the team at Tranters as she embarks on her career in law.
